Of course, I have to ask how those two got rid all of the magic in Oz? Magic practically runs the Land of Oz and these two bureaucrats put an end to it? I look forward to the answer in future strips!
One of the things I’ve realized about this storyline is that I’ve really given the villains spare coverage, and their motivations aren’t very well explained to the readers. This part of their scheme, at least, will be explained in the course of things. And using a Baum-created plot element, too!
