Ah-ha! I know the Master’s biggest problem! He didn’t read enoguh comics or watch enough cliff-hanger movies or shows as a kid, otherwise he’d know that the very first sign of impending defeat is to under-estimate your opponent. (For proof, just ask Grand Moff Tarkin how well his “ultimate power in the universe” battle station is doing.)

Not sure who’d be the most surprised if Drew is revealed to be the Master… maybe Drew himself!
