I was happy with the smoke from the ear effect, too. And, even though I used it just a couple of weeks ago, it seemed like the right effect to use here.

Thanks – the last panel went through quite a bit of reworking while I was doing the final drawings, but I was really happy with how it turned out. Much looser drawings and a better reaction from the rookie cop.
