It’s a good thing the Scarecrow is happy with his classic Denslow look … because those Shoepeg Townies don’t look like they’re in any mood to let go of their new souvenirs!

Well, the Scarecrow didn’t have the upper hand for long, did he?

Boy, at this rate, Watusi & friends may soon outnumber Kitsch’s side … even without Jack & the Sawhorse!

Watusi’s new year may have gotten off to a rough start, but at least he’s not taking it sitting down!

Uh oh! It looks like Watusi & Minerva took a mite too long to convince the Scarecrow to help them!
Next: Fight! Fight! Fight!
(And for those of you who still enjoy a print comic reading experience, Watusi the Talking Dog #38 is now available– details here!)

I’m glad Watusi & Minerva were able to motivate the Scarecrow to leave his throne– he’s much more fun to draw when he’s moving about!

Looks like Watusi (and Minerva)’s words did the trick! More to come…

As the Scarecrow’s tale of woe wraps up, I want to take a moment of self-congratulation– this week marks the 500th episode of this webcomic! Aside from a few pre-planned breaks and one unavoidable incident, I’ve been happy to give you an all-new Watusi comic for your Wednesday every week since May of 2009.
As always, thanks for reading!

More of the Scarecrow’s story to come…

Sounds to me like the Scarecrow has a story he wants to tell…
