You didn’t think I’d forgotten about how Tik-Tok was left, did you?

This episode is my way of sidestepping an error that I only realized late in the game (as in late September of last year) that my whole story premise was faulty! See, I’d only ever seen the Magic Belt being used as a means of travel, and thought that was all it could do. Turns out it is essentially Minerva’s magic rock– it can grant a magic wish every day! So my way out of that dilemma was to just portray the Vice Provosts as having that same (mis)understanding that I did!
Works for me, hope it does for you, too…

That shock that left Watusi & Minerva stunned into inactivity for the last few weeks seems to have passed– barring any other emergencies, we should be on a fast track to the end of “Watusi in OZ”!

It wouldn’t be a walk down memory lane without a glimpse at the very first Watusi comic, now would it? First published as part of my “Larry’s Kitchen” zine in APA-5 #308 (August 2000), I included it in the first Watusi the Talking Dog digest comic a couple of years later. If you want to read more about Watusi’s origins, you can do so here!

If you want to continue this trip down memory lane, you can keep reading here. You know, of all the Watusi stories I’ve done, I think “The ghost dog of Wonder Valley” is the best drawn one…

If you want to continue this trip down memory lane, you’ll have to dig out your copy of Watusi #19 to read the first appearance of the talking dog of the future! Or you can purchase a copy here.

If you want to continue this trip down memory lane, you can keep reading here. You can also purchase the expanded print edition here.

The Tin Woodman must have not had time to get to know Watusi very well if he thinks Watusi needs “persuading” to talk about himself!
